EXCLUDED IN THE BOOKING

• Bank charges, Wise transfers and any other respective  payment portal’s charges are to the payees ( guest) charge and not to Leleu
• Mentawai surf tax (Rp 1000 000)
• Porter fees either in Padang or Taupejat (we recommend the purchasing of the Travel package which includes all porter fees and avoids the hassle of trying to bargain)
• Hotel in Padang
• Travel Insurance
• Return ferry, airport shuttle return, shuttle to ferry return
• Snorkelling gear (guest to bring their own)
• Fishing and Spearfishing equipment (guests to bring their own)
• Surfboard(s) handling fee and ferry porters.
• 15 kg surfboard charge at ferry.
• Personal laundry service

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Long term rates available on request.
• 50% deposit for booking confirmation. Final payment 60 days prior to arrival.
• Final payments are an acknowledgment and understanding of the Terms and Conditions.
• Bank transfer fees and charges to be bourne by the the guests remitting bank.

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY

• In case of cancellations made by the guest, deposits and final payments are non refundable.
• LELEU DOES NOT HAVE CREDIT CARD FACILITIES. ATM’S ARE AVAILABLE ON SIPORA ISLAND. ANY PURCHASES AT LELEU ARE CASH ONLY or BANK TRANSFER.

DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITIES HEALTH

• Leleu staff and everything pertaining to the land, environment and hardware will not be accountable for any accident or incident that might occur in or out of the water as well as any health issues that might arise. Any activities undertaken by the guests are at their own risk. Leleu is not responsible for medical evacuation and medical emergencies.
• Leleu will not be held responsible for flight cancellations, ferry cancellations, lost or damaged luggage and surfboards.

DRUG POLICY

• Drugs of any kind are illegal in Indonesia and not allowed or tolerated at Leleu.

DOCUMENTS

• Passports must be valid for at least 6 months prior to departure.
• If necessary, a valid visa is required for travel.

GUEST REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BOOKING

• All guests are required to obtain mandatory travel and medical insurance that covers the above as well as medical evacuation. Prior to arrival a copy of medical insurance must be forwarded to Leleu. Bookings will be cancelled if copies thereof are not provided before arrival, with no refund provided.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The Mentawai islands is frontier living. One of the few remaining places like this on the planet. For this we insist as do all establishments on travel and medical insurance. We do provide basic medical kits. Your safety is our foremost concern and we endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

• Leleu has no control of weather and swell conditions.

LELEU GUEST POLICIES

• We do not allow loud music and parties.
• Only paying guests are allowed at Leleu unless prior arrangement has been made with management.
